Public Consultation
Our plans are at a very early stage and we are yet to begin the consultation process.
Before the application for a Development Consent Order is made, the project team will be undertaking two rounds of public consultation beginning with a first stage of ‘non-statutory’ consultation with local residents, organisations and other stakeholders to receive preliminary views on the draft proposals.
The first stage of consultation is currently anticipated to get underway in Summer 2025. The project team will be contacting interested parties and members of the public closer to the time with detailed information on the draft development proposals and full details on how to take part in our consultation.
The project team will consider and have regard to all responses received once the first stage of consultation has closed, before refining the proposals further in advance of conducting a second stage of ‘statutory’ consultation, anticipated to be held in Winter 2025.
Further details about the draft development proposals and how to be involved in the consultation will be found on this page when they are announced. In the meantime, please do not hesitate to get in contact with the project team.
